First off, let me be clear. All of the information on this web site is completely free. You do not have to buy anything to benefit from the information presented here. The site is clean, and honest, and I do not make recommendations for software unless I personally know the software. The information is current and accurate, and I am not charging you for anything you find on this site. I do make a few bucks off the site, but it hasn't amounted to much.

However, because I am a working tech, (and some people have asked me directly for help via e-mail). I have decided to set aside some time to help people out personally. Every day, I work on computers for people who are having problems. I know that for some people working on your computer is a scary thing. You really don't normally load up a lot of software, and are not sure you want to start learning on an already shaky computer.

To help you out I am now available, depending on my schedule, to actually connect to your computer remotely, take a look around, and load all the software you need to clean out your computer. This is known as remote support, and many companies offer this type of support. Their prices are very high. I am not a big corporation, or for that matter even a small one. What I am is a professional technician looking to increase my work volume. I will schedule appointments that fit both of our schedules, even in the evening in order to accommodate those who need my services. If your problem is just mal-ware, you will be fine after you scan your computer.

Second, try to fix your computer yourself. The more you work on your own computer the more independence you will have from computer repair folks, and you will virtually eliminate the downtime and lost production from a virus attack. If you learn more about the issues that affect your computing experience you will greatly reduce the amount of money you have to give to people like me.

Third, I will help you out personally if you can put up with my schedule.

How this service works is this:

I will connect to your computer, if your computer can get on the Internet that is, and take a look to determine if I can identify any problems. I will advise you as to what I have found, and will load up all the software that I recommend for you to clean out your computer, and set everything up so all you have to do is run the scans.

In this way, all you have to do is run the scans until your computer runs clean, usually about three times in a row.

I cannot fix everything on a computer over the Internet, but I can and will give you a professionals opinion as to what is going wrong. If your problem is mal-ware related, I will load the software for you, and you can take over from there.

I charge $25 flat fee per session, up to a 20 minute session. I will be able to advise you well before the 20 minutes is up, and the 20 minutes are just a guideline, not a rule. My goal is to help you fix your computer, and actually earn your money, not take it. The hard part is availability, but I am able to make the time necessary. This is why I must schedule your appointment around both of our daily schedules.

I use a product called AMMYY Admin for these sessions. It is a small program you run on your computer that creates a tunnel thru the Internet. When you give me your code over the phone, my program can find yours, and it allows me to see and control your computer as if I were sitting in front of it. You can sit back and watch me while I do the work, and I will explain what I am doing to you over the phone as I go along to help you learn how to take care of your stupid damn computer. When you close the program, my connection is severed, and I cannot reconnect to your computer without you giving me a new code. The program does not install on your computer, it just runs when you start it. The tunnel only exists if you open it, and I cannot connect to your computer until you let me.
